This is the beautiful stitching on Dandy's Seasons parachute. My amazing mum makes all of Dandy's unique parachutes and its her birthday today. Happy birthday mum, thanks for all you do and I hope you have a great night! 🥰

Dandy classes are completely pressure free. There

Dandy classes are completely pressure free. There are no expectations on your little one. They do not have to sit still but its absolutely OK if they choose to. They do not have to engage with every activity but most little ones do. They do not have to play or explore in any particular way, whatever they decide to do is right. They do not have to listen quietly, in fact sometimes classes are buzzing with noise. Dandy classes are designed to be fun in every way possible and that includes being hugged by a monkey whilst hugging a balloon!

Dandinos is specifically designed for little ones

Dandinos is specifically designed for little ones between 6w and 6m. It is a unique combination of baby sign, sensory experiences, musical discovery, gentle movement and early communication techniques. Everything is completely baby oriented with plenty of opportunities for the grown ups to chat and make friend too!

Signing isn't all about using signs around needs, it is also about interest, excitement and fun.

The animals signs are great at getting little ones excited about signing. If you can give your little one the signs for the animals that they love, you can share this joy together. The sign for 'dog' is two fingers on each hand pointing down, with the other fingers tucked away and then dabbing down twice. It's based on a little puppy sitting up and begging on its back legs. If you've got a dog at home, you see dog's out and about or your little one has books with dogs in, you are going to need this sign!

The little ones were loving tasting and smelling the oranges and lemons this morning in Warwick Stage 1. We learnt the sign for ‘eat’, wonderfully demonstrated in the first photo, and all the signs for our little one’s favourite foods.

My daughter loved signing for ‘yoghurt’ and ‘banana’ and my son just adored ‘baked beans on toast’! Signing gives little one choice and outs then in control. What would your little ones ask for if they could? Or maybe your little one is already signing for food, if so, what do they love signing for?

Jude's Dandinos Ambassador Update: Week 6!

"It was great to be back at Dandinos after half term and it's amazing how much all the little ones have grown up in 2 weeks! It was a sensory feast today and Jude loved exploring the mirrors as well as watching all the lights in the dark, especially the ones on the ceiling! It was helpful to learn the signs for Mummy and Daddy, and most importantly for Jude, 'sister'! I look forward to teaching my daughter the sign for 'sister' when I pick her up from school."

Maisie's Stage 1 Ambassador Update: WEEK 6!

"Was a lovely messy addition to the session today as it involved water! Maisie generally loves water so having done water week before (last term and with my first born) I didn’t hesitate to strip her down to her nappy and let her get stuck in. The water is warm, the heating in the hall was on and Nikki always brings towels for you so it was made easy for us mums to not have to worry! She really enjoyed the addition of the mint, orange and lemons to get the taste buds going as well as exploring the textures.

Learning the signs for the different foods was a great reminder and given that children generally get grumpy when they want food/ drink if you can crack that sign then that is one step closer to being able to understand them easier and make parenting a but easier too!

Great session which has also given me ideas for really simple but effective ‘messy’ play at home! Win win!"

I honestly had so much fun in Leamington this morning. The Dandinos reflections themes was beautiful and then Stage 2 were just loving Dandy’s rainforest! There were so many gorgeous photos I struggled to chose which ones to share first - more to come!

Dandy's puppet show is back! This is another thin

Dandy's puppet show is back!

This is another thing that was put on hold for Covid. We always get up and move closer to the puppet theatre and we couldn't do that with Covid restrictions in place. So, for the first time since 2019, Dandy's puppets are putting on a show in Stage 2 this week!

The toddlers love the puppets. They love seeing them pop up over the top and they love cuddling them after each animal has appeared. They also love coming round to my side of the puppet theatre to get a cheeky look at which puppet is going to be next!

Toddler fun in Dandy’s rainforest this morning in Leamington. We learnt signs for lots of animals including rhino, giraffe, elephant, panda, parrot, zebra and gorilla. They all co-existed in Dandy’s jungle with lots of little moneys!
